Kelly Grier EY Americas Area Managing Partner The two-year partnership will be focused on supporting the transformation of USA Rugby’s diversity and inclusiveness program, as well as using EY’s most innovative digital strategies to help develop the sport and the fan experience around the world. The term encompasses USA Rugby men’s and women’s senior national teams participating in the annual HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, international test matches, the Rugby World Cup Japan 2019 and the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The sponsorship will support EY's diversity and inclusiveness (D&I) program and initiatives including the Athlete Transition Program, Women Athletes Business Network and Women in Leadership and Technology. EY will also provide business strategy, technology and business transformation services to USA Rugby’s. More about USA Rugby USA Rugby is the national governing body for rugby union in the United States and oversees the four senior national teams: Men’s and Women’s 15-a-side (Eagles), and Men’s and Women’s seven-a-side (Eagles Sevens). The Eagles play international test matches, and every four years, compete in the Rugby World Cup and Women’s Rugby World Cup. Similarly, the Eagles Sevens teams compete every four years as part of the Olympic Games. When rugby sevens was introduced to the summer Olympics in Rio 2016, USA Rugby became a full sport member of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) and Team USA. The Men’s and Women’s sevens squads are currently both ranked second in the world, and will compete in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
